View this wonderful thank you video from one of our beloved Whispers From Children’s Hearts recipients, No Limits For Deaf Children and Families, to see how they were able to use their $10,000 donation from our 2015 Legacy Gala charity event to benefit deaf children and their families.
In the video you can meet a few of the children from low-income families that were able to receive help and support with individual speech therapy, bi-weekly literacy, as well as, parent support and education through this generous WFCH Legacy Gala donation.
In the video you will meet Lana, just one of the students that this donation helped change the life of. Lana started with No Limits when she was 5 years old. She had less than 20 vocabulary words and did not even know her own name. After 6 months in the No Limits program, you can see Lana speaking at her first graduation ceremony. As she continued at No Limits her language, vocabulary and confidence had soared and you will see her speaking about her dreams of becoming an astronaut! Today Lana is a straight-A student in all honors classes with her hearing peers.
We appreciate this beautiful thank you video from No Limits and we thank them too for all that they do to transform the lives of so many special children who are simply in need of the right support and opportunities to live their own legacies.
